Come to build a little house from loadbearing strawbales with your own hands! This technique was developed by British strawbale builder Barbara Jones and it is beautifully simple, as well as beautifully functional.
During this week, you will, together with other volunteer from various nations, shape, resize, stack, pin and compress strawbales so that in the end of the week four walls are ready to carry a roof. The roof will be built the following week, so you are welcome to stay longer, hands are always welcome!
The course is free, the 25 Euros cover all meals (vegetarian) and sleeping in own sleeping bags on matraces in the house or on the hay attic.
